Sunday 7th June

A cold northly wind with very unstable air.. showery with longer downpours.

Trevor hoped to do a trip to Easterton and Aboyne but that was before it started raining !
I ended up in the north bowl joining Ray in the Puch.

Sam however had a good day with his second solo flight. No soaring this time though.

AGM 2009

The AGM this year was very civilized ... Ray even wore a tie for the occassion

Sam Newmark's First Solo

Congratulations to Sam who went solo on the 31st May - the day before his 17th birthday!

Not only did he soar but stayed up for over an hour to get his first Bronze leg.
Super landing too.

Sam is a tuba player and John Whyte just happened to have a tuba with him that day and so thought it fitting to play him a wee rendition of "Those Magnificent Men .."

First Post

I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep this up, but thought that an irregular diary of flying at Feshie might be interesting to look back on and perhaps a way for folk to pickup bit of news about the weekend.

If its possible with this software to share blog entries with others who are willing to write a few lines that would be great but failing that we could sign contributions in the post.

Now I must go and upload some photos of last weekend ...
